Nicholas's obituary
Nicholas Rienstra, born on January 14, 1978, passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2025. A loving husband, devoted father, and cherished friend, Nicholas' presence and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Jennifer Rienstra, and their two children, son Nathan and daughter Ella, who were among his proudest accomplishments. His unwavering dedication to his family was the cornerstone of his life, and his memory will live on in their hearts.
Nick was a man of intense passions, which included the thrilling sport of drag racing. It was not uncommon to see him at Tucson Dragway, his favorite local spot, where he spent countless hours in the pursuit of speed and camaraderie. Yet, Nick was just as content to spend his time surrounded by friends and family, embracing the simple joys of companionship and shared laughter.
A memorial service to celebrate Nicholas' life will be held on June 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Christ Presbyterian Church. All who knew and loved Nick are welcomed to join in remembering his vibrant spirit and loving nature.
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established to provide support for Nathan and Ella during this difficult time. Contributions can be made at the following web address: https://everloved.com/life-of…
The void Nick leaves behind can never be filled, but his legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have shared in his journey. His memory will be cherished, and he will be incredibly missed by his family and friends.
