Personal note from Gretchen & Dominick

When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving you joy.
When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.
– From On Joy and Sorrow, by Kahlil Gibran

We hope that you will join us, either in person or virtually, as we celebrate Myrtis Moore McCord, her life, and her many contributions to each of ours! Details about the celebration, to be held on November 18, are available on the website of Holding Space Events, who will be helping us with the virtual part of the celebration at www.holdingspaceevents.com/my…; basic information is below.

Because Holding Space Events does not provide an online guestbook or other way for loved ones to share memories, we will use this site primarily for that purpose. Please share your stories, photos, and other memories here for all of her loved ones to enjoy -- or if you prefer to share them privately, we welcome your emails and cards, of course!

We have a lot of photos, stories, and other treasures to share on this site, more treasurers than time! So forgive us as we add to this piecemeal, and please check back periodically to see what we've added and what other loved ones have shared!

You can also find information here about where to give memoriam donations in Mom's honor here (under Give on the menu), her obituary, and a few other tidbits, some of which are also available on the Holding Space Event site.
