This was after Michael won the SoCal Arcadian. He was so excited, and played so well. Someone donated extra winnings to the pot so he won even more than he expected.
Michael was a truly meaningful presence in my life while we were growing up. I will always remember the kindness and empathy he displayed to me and everyone around us. I look back with so much warmth to memories of running around outside, playing silly games on our iPods, riding bikes, catching frogs, trading Pokemon, and all the goofy misadventures of children.
These moments forever hold a special place in my heart. My deepest condolences to family and close friends. Sending much love
Michael after building his own custom desk. It has like 7 ikea table legs attached and he ended up putting contact paper on the tabletop to make it look like wood.
Picking up Michael and Brianna from the airport when they flew out to visit. Though we did not see each other in person very often, we were all able to hang out and have fun just like before. We played pokemon go, took a trip to the mountains, played games and talked for hours.
Michael was by far one of the smartest people I knew and was effortlessly funny. I have many fond memories with him, but I can't imagine what the loss feels like for those who had the pleasure of knowing him closely. I hope he can have the beautiful resting place he deserves.
