Mathan's obituary

We mournfully announce the passing of Mathan Martin "MoMo", 31, of Lodi, CA. Mathan passed away on August 15, 2022. His passing was unexpected and will forever leave a hole in our hearts.

Born to Craig Martin and Kimberly Whitaker on August 01, 1991, in Modesto, Mathan attended Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton, CA.  After graduating, he went on to attend SAE - Sound Audio Engineering Expression College, to pursue a degree in audio engineering. Mathan’s greatest passion in life was music. Apart from his focus on drumming, he also thoroughly enjoyed writing and producing Dubstep, a genre of electronic dance music. He played in the AVHS Marching Band from 2006 - 2009 as well as performing in Winter Percussion, Jazz and Concert Band.  Mathan was a kind, lovable and friendly soul who loved his family and friends.

Mathan's son, Liam, was the light of his life. Liam was born on June 14, 2016, and was a welcome angel. He is the mirror image of Mathan with a personality that will leave you laughing and feeling loved.
