Marlyn Meoli's Memorial Mass Part 1 of 3
When there is love, any life is too short. Perhaps it will help to lessen the sorrow of Marlyn's passing to know that so many of her friends are sharing your grief. The happiness, motivation, caring and most of all love that she so willingly shared and inspired in her friends was greatly appreciated. We know your courage and faith will help you through this difficult time. Our love and prayers are with you and your family.
God Bless
Eugene & Sylvia Davis
One more video compilation, Vicki prepared sharing Circle of Life.
Vicki created this video compilation which we shared at today's memorial service. We hope you enjoy watching it!
Here is another video compilation we shared at today's memorial service. We were very blessed to have Marlyn, Mom, Nanny, etc in our lives. Have a blessed day!
One of the videos from Marlyn's memorial service we shared with her family and friends.
Marlyn was a strong support doing a very challenging time in my life. I was in the midst of a marital separation and I was a new member of St. Philips and the Camp Springs neighbor and my older son, Mike Yob, was strongly attached to Andy Meoli who was in his grade at St Phillips at the time of Sister Virginetta. Andy and Mike were on T-ball and Soccer teams together and enjoyed lots of other connections as our houses were near each other. Part of the beauty of this relationship was that Andy was the youngest in a big family with experienced parents and Mike was the older of 2 boys as I was trying to figure how to be a mom with a husband who was constantly traveling while I was navigating a marriage in distress and making reentry into the world of work as an occupational therapist after 7 years at a stay-at home mom.
The Meoli family was like my family for those few years. I have a wonderful memory of a Christmas Eve Seven Fishes dinner complete with Christmas presents for Mike, Dave and Me. She was a woman of compassion who was always happy to see me and offer me practical and loving support. Eventually, after working for 5 years in Prince Georges Public Schools, I moved to Colorado in 1989 and thanks to Ange and email and the parish listserve have stayed in communication all these years. Marlyn taught me a great deal, through example about how to be a good mom. I will NEVER forget her and her family!
In response to "What made Marlyn different from most people you know?"
I pray that God granted all of you the grace to mourn her passing and the grace to celebrate her life here on earth and in heaven. I am sure she is watching over you together with our mother the Virgin Mary.

God bless.
We pray for peace and comfort to the Meoli family at this difficult time and we offer our condolences to you all. Auntie Marlyn (our kids used to call her) will always be in our hearts.
She was a dear friend of my parents George and Dottie Donley, St Phillips Catholic Church in Camp Springs, MD. After my parents passing she became a dear friend and helped me through some difficult times dealing with grief. She has definitely earned her angel wings and a seat in heaven with her family and friends. God Bless You,
Your Friend. Darlene Donley Ferris
