Celebrating both Margery and …

Celebrating both Margery and David's 80th birthdays in Chicago
I was in Margie's class at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park.  She was delightful, full of fun and a joy to be around. I will never forget her although it has been many years since last I saw her.   I know she will be missed but take comfort in the fact that we grieve but not as those who have no Hope in Jesus.

I have SO much to say about how wonderful Aunt Margery was! ... and yet, I have no words. I am going to try my best to sum it up, (at a later time) but it's really hard! I mean, I've known Aunt Margery since I was 10! ... and Uncle David my whole life! I remember when she and Uncle David started dating. He was/is such a nice, positive, jovial guy and uncle, but I never saw him SO happy as when he met Aunt Margery! They were just the cutest couple (besides both being Swedish!) and continued to be "role models" of what marriage and family is all about,  throughout their whole marriage of 60 years!  We send our love and condolences to Uncle David, Kristin/Raul and Karin.  Also to both sides of the family.  May the love and comfort of God, along with your memories, carry you throughout the coming days.

Love to all,  Shelly and David Swanson

Margie Lundquist, my dear sister-in-law, excelled at many things,  She loved hosting and was great at it.  Whether it was for a meal or you were staying there overnight, everything was done beautifully.  She was great at remembering special events in the lives of others too. She not only remembered birthdays and anniversaries, but she would call to see how a special medical test turned out.  She was a unique person in many ways and will be missed not only by my brother and nieces but by many other relatives, friends, and about anyone who knew her.
