Margaret's obituary

Margaret "Maggie" Partridge, 72, of Castro Valley, CA, peacefully passed away on June 17, 2022 succumbing to complications from a major stroke three years prior.

Maggie was sunshine, bringing life and laughter into every room she entered. Described as "easy to love", Maggie was an incredibly loving sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. Her laughter was infectious, her talent was inspiring, and her heart was full of compassion. She approached life as a grand adventure, with an endless curiosity and appreciation for the beauty around her. Maggie had the ability to make people feel truly seen, their voices heard. To be around Maggie was to feel joy, to see the world around you in a new way, made more beautiful through her eyes.

Born on May 07, 1950 to Robert and Madeline in the bustling city of San Francisco, Maggie was the oldest of seven children, and viewed as a second mom to the youngest among them, adoring her younger brothers and sisters.

An incredibly talented singer and artist, Maggie loved to learn and easily became proficient in everything she tried. She loved to paint, write poetry and music, play the guitar and piano, practice calligraphy, write stories, and was a voracious reader, especially about history.

More than anything Maggie loved Jehovah God. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 41 years, Maggie loved to preach at every opportunity, to travel around the world, and share the Bible's hope for the future. Maggie fiercely protected her faith and the joy it brought her, intent on bringing that joy to everyone she could.

Maggie was predeceased by her sisters, Marie Anne Partridge and Becky Hinderlie. She is survived by brothers Charlie and Michael Partridge, sisters Cathy Horvoth and Emily Franchi, nephews Thomas Hinderlie, Dominic and Nicholas Franchi and nieces Isalena Wilson and Chandley Silin and three great nieces and nephew. Services will be held on Zoom on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11:45 a.m. PST.
