We first met the levine family through Marcie parents Atrtie and Selma Levine, Marcie parents became very good friends with my parents Jacqueline and Emanuel Applebaum and there children became good friends with Marcie parents . Marcie and Steven grow up playing with my brothers, we  were like family. When Marcie was getting  married , Marcie mother Selma wanted my parents Jacqueline and Emanuel Applebaum wanted them to be part Marcie's celerbration.
I was so sorry to hear of Marcie passing she was a wonderful friend to my  brothers David , Michael and Geela and she was loved by parents Jacqueline and Emanuel Applebaum
Marcie was such a good friend, who gave such good advice.  She was generous and sharp and funny, I miss her.  Sending love and support to Brian, Matthew and all who loved Marcie.

I was so saddened to hear of Marcie's passing. I worked with Marcie in my role at two different companies. She was a class act--no-nonsense, compassionate, whip-smart, and a real gem. She gave so much of herself to anyone who she encountered and you could just tell how much she cared about people. I will deeply miss her and my sympathies are with the entire family.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing.  It feels like yesterday we were chatting about the trip to Cuba, her thoughts and insights.  I loved working with her and appreciated all that she did for me and our clients.  It is a shocking bit of news and can’t imagine how hard this is for the family.  She was so full of love and life and lived life well.  My thoughts are with you and know she will always be appreciated and remembered.

Sending love and strength.

Dear Brian and family,

I only knew Marcie from having bumped into her at a conference and then subscribing to her survey services.  She was just a lovely person.  Over many years we emailed and talked scores of times, and in every instance she could not have been more considerate, upbeat and kind.

God bless Marcie and you and all of your family.

With sincere condolences,

Harry Griffith

Her giving nature and commitment to adding value and thought leadership in the world of assessment. I had the pleasure of partnering with her over the last 5 years in my role at Aviso. She helped us create some great assessment tools. You could "think tank" with her and she always came up with creative/new ways to explore and get the best product. Thank you Marcie

From my short time getting to know Marcie after her accident, I immediately sensed her adventurous spirit, drive, kindness, and compassion for others even in the face of this adversity. I also always admired the love and partnership between Marcie and Brian - no matter what the challenge, they faced it together. She fought so hard for every moment to spend with the people she loved. As a physical therapist, there are some patients that truly touch your heart - and Marcie was one of those people. I will always be proud of her and grateful for knowing her. My thoughts are with all of Marcie's friends and family during this difficult time.

Marcie was one of my first friends in Boulder

We shared good times, bad times; hard times and crazy times

She helped me get through so, so many things

And I'm very sorry I threw the cheetos she offered to me that time I came home quite drunk

She had great taste and a knack for knowing what folks needed; the Nike sweatshirt she got me in 1985 is still treasured

Marcie, I love you and think of you often

Marcie was such a vibrant person. She truly loved her family and I am so honored to have been part of her family and life. She had such a zest of life. Emir and I will miss her so much and we will remember her through all her thoughtful gifts and wonderful memories. ❤️
Marcie is a wonderful, fun and enthusiastic spirit that we will always remember. From the pool parties with the kids and dogs to hanging out in the mountains together, we have so many wonderful memories! It is fair to say that Marcie’s love of her dogs rubbed off on us, and we are now forever smitten as well. Marcie was with us when we were dealing with Kona’s cancer, and then she was the very first person who came to meet our Keeley when he arrived as a 4 pound puppy. We are so very thankful that you were a part of our lives, and we will remember you and your love always. Dan, Kathy, Michael, Jessi, and Keeley
The last time I saw Marcie was just weeks before her accident. We met for lunch along with my mom and Susie’s family.  I was glad to sit next to Marcie to chat away about our lives and my desire to travel. I wanted to travel but hadn’t found the right opportunity. Talking to Marcie I realized that every moment was the right opportunity.  She was so inspirational and her travel energy was infectious. I did end up going to Italy this spring and plan for many future trips. I also think of Marcie and her positive can do attitude. I think Marcie’s favorite shoes were her “traveling shoes”.

I have always treasured the gifts that Marcie has given me. Her last gift to me was this past Thanksgiving. She brought a beautiful alpaca throw from Bolivia that I used all winter. The wool socks she got me, I wore till they were worn out.  She also gave me games!  Words with Friends, Spelling Bee, and Wordle. It was so fun to call her up when I was stuck. But she did get mad at me when I started beating her in Words with Friends. She was too good a teacher. Marcie created such love around her.  Thank you Marcie for being a good friend and sister-in-law. I'll miss you.

Oh Marcie. My Bestie! Wow. We shared so much. I choose to feel joy for all the incredible adventures, life’s up and down milestones, the late night talks,  the laughter and tears. You have given so much to so many! Forever grateful for every moment. Cindy.
