Marc Angelo Sanidad, beloved husband, dog dad, son, brother, uncle, and friend, departed this world on May 26, 2023, at Taipei Medical University Hospital in Taiwan. After allowing his family to say their goodbyes, Marc peacefully succumbed to complications of an unexpected heart attack, leaving behind cherished memories and a profound void in the lives of all who knew him.

Born in Washington, D.C., on August 6, 1980, Marc brought a bright light into the lives of his parents, Mario and Estela Sanidad. Graduating from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Marc laid the foundation for a successful career in the field he loved. For almost 20 years, Marc worked at Quest Diagnostics, where he served as a molecular cytogenetics technologist, before climbing the ranks to become a supervisor. His commitment to his work was exceptional, and he will be remembered as a skilled professional whose dedication and attention to detail earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues.

Outside of his professional life, Marc was a man of many passions. He had an insatiable appetite for culinary adventures, earning him the title of a true foodie. Exploring different cuisines and discovering hidden gems brought him immense joy, and he thankfully shared his gustatory knowledge, along with his affection for whiskey, with family and friends.

A child at heart, Marc found delight in constructing intricate Lego creations, losing himself in fantasy games and books, and creating an environment at his home that seemed plucked straight out of the imagination of his favorite science fiction writers. Marc's youthful pursuits were a testament to his genuine spirit and his ability to find joy in the simplest of pleasures.

Among the many roles he cherished, being a loving uncle was of paramount importance to Marc. His nephews were the light of his life. Marc delighted in their laughter, cultivated their interests, and was a source of happiness and joy whenever he was around them. His nurturing presence and unconditional love enriched their lives in countless ways, leaving a lasting legacy that will forever shape their futures.

Marc's zest for life was matched only by his love and devotion to his wife, Janet Sanidad. Their bond was an embodiment of strength, understanding, and mutual respect, which spoke to the beautiful partnership they shared. His love for her was, and will continue to be, the single greatest example of the spirit, passion, and warmth that Marc represents.

Marc leaves behind a devoted family: his beloved spouse Janet; dogter Kaiju; father Mario; mother Estela; his siblings and their spouses, Maritel and Djerame, Matthew and Jennifer; parents-in-law Mei Oh and Ching Keng; and his siblings-in-law and their spouses, Felix and Annie, Susan and Russell. His memory will live on through his adoring nephews, Evan, Emmett, Wesley, Maddox, Ben, and MJ, and by his many dear friends.
