My heartfelt condolences to family & friends on Lorne’s passing. I’ve known Lorne for over 25 years as we first met through the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce events and then socially through monthly Poker tournaments. I will miss his intellect, sense of humour and overall companionship.
The word honorable has to do with people and actions that are honest, fair, and worthy of respect. An honorable person is someone who believes in truth and doing the right thing — and tries to live up to those high principles. When you lose a game, it's honorable to shake hands. Lorne was all this and more to all who knew him -
Lorne took a chance on me, and hired me as one the the early LoneWolf employees. I learned so much from him and always tried to follow his ways. He was a great man and will be missed.
Lorne was one of a kind. He had an ability to make you feel like the most important person in that moment you were talking to him. I considered him a like a brother and have tried to mirror that behavior in my own life.
