Linda Frances Schauer 77, of Nashville, TN, passed away peacefully on November 12th from Alzheimer’s Disease. Linda was born on June 3, 1945 to Judith Weiser and Samuel Schauer in Bridgeport, CT. After Linda graduated from Central High School in 1963, She went on to graduate from the University of Connecticut in 1967 with a major in child development and family relations. She met her former husband, Henry Goodstein, in college, and went on to have two children, Anastasia and Rebecca. She worked at many different jobs throughout her life, but her passion was always counseling and helping others. She returned to school later in life to get her master’s degree in counseling from Western Seminary in Seattle, WA. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going on road trips with her youngest grandchildren to different destinations in Tennessee from Dollywood to Fall Creek Falls State Park. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Judith and Samuel, and her sister, Sandra Scharf and her former husband, Henry Goodstein. She is survived by her brother, Neil Schauer, her children, Anastasia Goodstein and Rebecca Wilkins, her son-in-law Trey Brown, and her grandchildren, Evan and Connor Wilkins, and Samantha Belford.
