Personal note from Linda's brother, Michael

As many of you know, Linda wasn't a soft girlie girl. Had a few, we'll call them "heated arguments", with her growing up and I can say from experience she wasn't one to back down from confrontation. She definitely had an energetic spirit about her and gravitated towards people that enjoyed living life as richly as she did. I know she had lots of friends from all corners, and I know she always had your support. I'm beyond thankful she had such friends and it's one thought that I hold onto during the grieving process to warm my heart. Knowing she surrounded herself with love somehow makes the heartbreak a tad less unrelenting. I wish I could have met all of you while she was with us but hope to maybe meet you sometime soon or down the road. I know she touched your lives, maybe as much as she touched the lives of her family and especially her husband Paul. So you probably know then that she wouldn't want us mourning our loss; rather she'd want us looking back at the times we had together and looking forward to the day we meet again. Absolutely, there's a hole in my heart now, and I'll forever miss her with what remains of it, but you know she's looking down at us saying something like "Suck it up Buttercup". It's difficult to move on but I'm sure she's in a better place and most likely getting it ready for us with welcoming arms when it's our turn to move on. So I'll miss and love her for the rest of my life, but I'll also look forward to seeing her again someday.
