Linda Darlene “Dar” Lee, age 67, born November 24, 1955, to her parents Gene and Mary Koon in Cheyenne, Wyoming, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, early Sunday Morning, April 2, 2023, in the arms of her husband of 42 years.

She is preceded in death by her father Carol Gene Koon, and her mother Mary Magdalene Koon.

Darlene has been cared for by her husband, Rick Lee, for the last 7 years, while she was suffering with Alzheimer’s.

Darlene is survived by 2 Brothers and a twin sister; her son and daughter and her step children Michelle Rhodes and Zane Lee and his wife Jessica; and 7 grand children: Mason and Sean Rhodes, Jack and Jase Wright, Kaylee and Kinslee Bagley, and Oliver Lee.

Darlene was a member of Smyrna church since childhood.

Darlene graduated from Paron High School in 1974. She worked at Teletype Corporation where she met her husband. Darlene was a housewife and home maker.

She was a excellent cook, and she was a avid movie buff, collecting them as a hobby. She kept and cared for chickens and loved to travel, having made it to all 48 contiguous states, Mexico, and Canada. She was saving to go to Alaska and Hawaii, but those plans were disrupted. Her favorite movie was “Gone With The Wind.” Her favorite singer was Barbara Streisand.

She is loved by all that knew her and will be deeply missed. Forever in our hearts until we meet again.

Darlene has been interred, next to her Mother, at Cold Springs Cemetery.  Paron, Arkansas.
