Linda was born in Milton-Freewater, Oregon on March 16, 1947, and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on April 29, 1973.
From a very young age Linda had a very creative spirit. Her passions included singing, writing music and playing the piano. Writing poetry as well as affirmations she wrote from meditating on bible scriptures. Linda loved to share her love of God and the Bible with anyone who would listen. Highlights of Linda’s life include pioneering whenever possible and centering her life around spiritual activities. In 2004 she expanded her ministry, relocating to the town of Piedras Negras, Mexico. For over a decade she volunteered her time to serve in the English-speaking congregation. Serving in the ministry and freely giving her time to find those interested in learning more about the bible. Linda’s background in teaching and understanding in the English dialect enabled her to become a staple in the congregation as a teacher of English. In the process Linda developed deep lifelong friendships with those she taught and volunteered alongside.
In 2012 Linda moved to upstate New York to be closer to family. She continued in her volunteer service alongside her family. Enabling her the opportunity to Auxiliary Pioneer when possible, enjoying public witnessing alongside her children and grandchildren.
It has been one of her greatest privileges to see all of her children and grandchildren dedicate their lives to Jehovah. A month before her passing, Linda had the great joy to witness and celebrate the last baptism of her four grandchildren with friends and family.
