Linda Ann (Heffernan) Cadan, 67, passed away on August 18, 2024, in Norwalk, Connecticut. Born on December 7, 1956, in New Haven, Connecticut to her parents Thomas Heffernan and Candida (Candy) Nuzzo Heffernan, Linda attended St. Mary’s High School in New Haven and graduated in the class of 1975. She went on to graduate from the University of Bridgeport School of Nursing, which led her to pursue a career in the field and treat patients throughout the country and Connecticut, including at St. Raphael, Yale New Haven and Greenwich Hospitals. Among her patients, Linda was well known for her compassion, empathy and light hearted sense of humor.

Linda was an exceptional cook, and loved traveling and enjoying time outdoors. Her home was always open to any friends and family, and fostered a warm and welcoming environment. She was a committed mother and dedicated to supporting her children’s passions, pursuits, interests, and dreams.

She is survived by her sons, Seth and Sam Cadan, and her siblings, John and Jean Heffernan. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s memory may be made to support critical scholarships for University of Bridgeport School of Nursing students.
