Leslie Amissah was born on March 19, 1975, in Geneva, and from an early age, his life was shaped by culture, adventure, and an unwavering sense of purpose. His journey took him across continents, from Ghana to Germany, Japan, and the UK, where he cultivated a love for sports, storytelling, and meaningful connections.

A distinguished communications professional, Leslie built an extraordinary career, founding Portobello & Company and later mosaicblue Communications. He became a trusted expert in reputation management and strategic communications, always championing Africa’s growth on the global stage.

Beyond his work, Leslie’s greatest joy was being a father to Leonard, instilling in him a love for music, travel, and a deep-rooted sense of identity. In 2021, he met Hayet, and from their very first conversation, they knew they were meant to walk life’s path together. Their love was a beautiful force—deep, unwavering, and full of laughter. In September 2024, they sealed their love in marriage, blending their families in the most meaningful way.

Leslie would have turned 50 in five weeks. Though his time was short, he lived fully, loved deeply, and left an indelible mark on everyone he touched.
