Our beloved father, Dr. Larry Dwayne Morries, passed away suddenly on December 28th, 2022, at the age of 78. 

He was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to Patrick and Ethel "Dorothy" Morries on December 29th, 1943. He was raised in Carlsbad until he moved to Saint Louis, where he graduated from Logan University with a Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1969. Soon after, he relocated to Colorado and opened up his Chiropractic Practice until his retirement in 2020.

Larry was an impassioned chiropractor, lifelong learner, speaker, published researcher, and serial entrepreneur. He loved everything about Colorado and what it had to offer; a camper, hunter, angler, boater, and skier. He loved riding motorcycles, driving his monster truck on offroad trails, and taking scenic photos of the Rockies. He also loved working in his flower gardens.

Larry is survived by his brother Dr. Patrick Morries, sister Patricia "Kay" Pinnell; five children, Patrick Morries, Lawrence "Britt" Morries, Lee Baker, LaLani Clausen, and Laurie Baker; as well as thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; many loving patients, coworkers, and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Aggie Morries, and son Lynn Baker.

The Burial Service will be held on Saturday, January 7th, at 1:00 PM at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to www.michaeljfox.org or www.lbda.org in honor of Larry.
