Background
Because of Lance’s love for the outdoors and education, Sierra thought helping the ocean and the youth would be a beautiful way for his passing to support a difference for the next generations.
Lance was a pilot and had a love for small craft planes. He even had some wild stories about his plane adventures. He also had a rare blood type that was called Golden Blood, which is O- with zero antigens. This blood is primarily used for babies, premature and baby blood transfusions. The Red Cross would call him very regularly for blood donations.
With these specific qualities of Lance’s story, his daughter Sierra found two organizations that could exemplify his values in his passing.
Aeroangel is an organization that offers free flights for families in need, to transport children to hospitals for emergencies and medical care.
With his deep love for the ocean floor, especially the coral reefs. Reef Renewal USA is a small organization, that could use support in their mission to help grow coral farms.
