Our deepest condolences to Charlie, Mary, Louie, and all of Kim’s family and friends.
Our hearts are broken, and we mourn alongside you. I hold so many beautiful memories with Kim and Charlie over the years. It’s hard to find the right words for such a deep loss. What I can share are the lasting feelings Kim left with me and my family.
She brought a calm, peaceful presence to every moment. Her warmth filled every room, and she made everyone feel welcomed, seen, and loved. Being around her was a gift.
To Mary and Louie,
Your mom touched so many lives and brought joy and a special kindness wherever she went. Some of my favorite memories with her were celebrating birthdays and dancing at the Stevie Nicks concert. She made those moments unforgettable.
I'm sharing some of those memories through the many pictures I have of her. I hope they bring you comfort and remind you just how deeply loved and beautifully bright your mom truly was.
Our love and heartfelt sympathy,
Deana, David, Patrick and Alexander Plaskon

Her pleasure of being a Mom is obvious

Kim and I were selected to be classroom parents for our kids’ (Mary and Jack) pre-K3 class. Kim had applied for it even before Mary started school, when she was only 2, because she was really looking forward to it. Once announced Kim sent me an email right away with her phone number to set up a time to meet and discuss while the kids played. She was always prepared and calm with a serene smile, a positive attitude and brilliant ideas. Kim and I often talked about healthy snacks for the kids lunch bags, recently she had asked me for some ideas to give Mary options that were higher in protein. Kim adored Mary. She dressed her impeccably with joy and pride. Mary’s hair, backpack, raincoat, boots, and outfits easily showed how much Kim enjoyed being a mommy. I will always remember how much she loved baby Louis already, constantly rubbing her belly with a large smile, her family was complete! That Friday morning, on the way to the hospital, Kim sent me a message that read “Feeling excited and ready for baby 💙”. I will forever cherish the times we shared cutting, gluing, tracing and laughing together. I’m thinking of you and your family day and night, and will continue loving on your babies like you loved Jack.Â

Kim always had a smile on her face. Loving, positive, and so in tune to her family, Kim exuded kindness. A gentle soul who was a wonderful match for Chuck. We still have the Photo Booth pictures from your wedding on our fridge. We hope that Mary and Louis always know how fiercely Kim loved being their mom.Â
