Condolences to you and family Audrey during this difficult time.

From Alison  Christie-Binder

A great loss. Uncle Ken was an upstanding Christian, caring and loving husband and father and devoted to his community. I will always remember the wonderful memories he created for us growing up and our visits to Hopewell and theirs to stay with us in Kingston. Sending love, light, strength to the family in this difficult time of grief. He now rests with the ancestors…and may angels bear him to his heavenly home.

Affectionately called Mr Daley as a child , when grown ‘Ken’.. to many Bro Daley, Elder Daley , Mass Ken,Sir D , Uncle Ken .

What can I say about Mr Daley that has not already been said ! I concur and to add I have been a recipient of his love, care and protection! At the tender age of 7yo I became a part of the Daley’s family via Hannah( Roderick’s younger sister)

Through the years of elementary , HS and later Nsg school .. I was nutured  from youngster to a young Christian lady !

I recall Ken and Anna getting up at 4a.m. and drove me to UHWI School of Nsg ( Kgn) waited for me , drove me back to Hopewell!

That was the beginning of many treks from Hopewell to Kgn…the final one after graduation where they both came , packed me up and I went back home until I received their blessings. I got married and left home . Ah bawl  yu si😭😭😭 Much to the bewilderment of my new husband 😆😆😆

As a family we would hang out in the infamous ‘Middle Room’ where we laughed at any and everything ..I always say we should have a show starring Grandma( Lou Dear) The cast members Jr, Denise , Debbie , myself and any other cousins that may visit from time  to time 💗💗💗

So it was fitting that our Middle Room became a place of solace . When we lost our first child ( Dane & myself) , guess what?? I packed up from MBJ straight back to Hopewell.. to where ?? The Middle Room , where I was nursed back to health . Anna feeding me cornmeal porridge and Ken’s prayers gave me the strength to go on .💗💗💗🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I his latter years Mr Daley became frail but still had his wit about him !

Three weeks prior to his transition ,Debbie leaned on his chest , someone asked ‘ who is this ‘ with a smerk on his face, he said ‘ Debbie my daughter’.. and who is that pointing to me ‘Audrey my daughter .’ We had a good laugh 😆😆😆

In the words of Kenneth Daley Jr ‘ my dad was not an ordinary man..’ Ditto Jr!!!

I pay this tribute in part .. so much more to write . You did well by Roderick and  Edith’s daughter and I’m your daughter too . Just look at God🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Rest well Mr Daley .. we will continue your legacy of truly caring for me .

❤️❤️❤️❤️We will see you in the morning ❤️❤️❤️❤️

💗💗💗💗Lovingly submitted by Audrey , Dane , Craig and Daphne, Chris & Tiffany Leilanie, Joshua Jeremiah Clarke💗💗💗

Memories, memories, memories

The life of an awesome, decent human being. A gentle giant full of meekness and purity of heart. May his soul be at complete rest with our Saviour.

I have known Brother Ken for all of my years on earth, or should I say, brother Daley has known me for all my life.

There are so many wonderful stories but this one will live with me for a lifetime. I can vividly remember the night before my Dad’s passing, Brother Ken and his entire family were the last visitors he had. This emphasizes and demonstrates the complete caring attribute of the person he was.

Sister Hannah, there isn’t much I could really say right now to soften your grief but rest assured that I totally understand your pain and loss. The inevitable reality of life, results in pain, even at the promotion to glory of a cherished patriarch and a wonderful husband. I sincerely believe that heaven is rejoicing at the homecoming of a beloved saint.

Sister Hannah, may the Holy Spirit cover you completely with peace and contentment just as the waters cover the Sea. May you be enabled with physical strength in your moments of weakness. We are here for you my sister.

Remembering you with compassion. The Earle’s Family.

Sister Lilieth and Sylvester Earle.

Love you lots uncle Ken, Celia, Celine, Alison, Abby.
Aunt Hannah, Junior, Debbie, Denise, Audrey and our extended family, sincerest condolences on the sudden transition our beloved "Uncle Ken" after a brief illness. Our multi generational families have been extremely close over the decades. Uncle Ken was family-oriented, a quiet power house of support, congenial, always smiling and helpful, especially in all things related to cars. He always made time for us, the children, as our families spent time in your Hopewell household and as your family stayed with ours, in Kingston, as we interacted and celebrated with both families in happy times, especially, the births of Denise and Debbie and through challenges, as well. Uncle Ken played many outdoor games with us, badmington, hopscotch, bicycle riding and in later years, hide and seek with the youngest ones in his 80's !!! On holidays, I remember us meeting in aunt Hannah and uncle Ken's room to start each day with family prayer and Bible reading and also seeing uncle Ken in action as an Elder in the church at Hopewell. So many beautiful memories are emblazoned in my mind. I'm sure he's now having a grand time meeting up with our elders who've gone on before. Ken, whom we all love will never go away, he now walks in step with us every day. May his soul and those of all the faithfully departed be continuously blessed as he rests with them in eternal peace.🙏🏽😘😇🙏🏽

My Sincere condolences to my aunt Hannah, Debbie, Denise, Kenneth Jr, Audrey, and the entire family.  May your precious memories ease your loss and bring you comfort. Eternal peace to Mr Daley.  May God watch over your family and continue to bless them with his goodness.

My family and I extend our sincere condolence to the Daley family during your bereavement.  I fondly remember Mr Daley as a truly wonderful gentleman. He was compassionate, kind and caring, someone  I deeply respected and  looked up to.

Mr Daley, Mr D, as I called him, was a perfect example of a  husband ,father and Christian.. his life reflected his love and  commitment to the Lord.  He has made an indelible mark on my life and  I thank God for blessing me with the privilege of knowing this wonderful man and his family.

Ken was a very quiet and peaceful man. My condolences to Hannah and the family.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints - Psalm 116:15. May his soul rest in peace.
