With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Karen Lorraine Gnidec on Tuesday, July 11th at Toronto General Hospital with her three daughters at her side.
She lived a heroic life and was a survivor through and through. Having battled with Lupus for over forty years, she continuously defied the odds and will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and unwavering determination.

Karen loved reading/audiobooks, scrabble, figure skating and constantly learning new things. She loved connecting with and meeting new people.
We will be celebrating her life this Saturday, July 15th at the Weston Golf and Country Club (Fairway Dining Room) from 11am-2pm. Formal remarks at 11:30am. Children are welcome. Karen has requested that you don’t wear black.
