With sadness our family shares the news that Justin Rawson, age 48, of Lewiston, ID passed away June 21, 2022. He is survived by mother Julie McFarland Rawson, sister Laresa Rawson, nephew Myi Rawson and father John Rawson as well as many extended loving family.

Justin grew up in Brewster, WA where he attended Brewster High School. He lived in several different places, such as Albany, NY and Portland, OR but finally landed in Lewiston, ID. Justin may have had some struggles, but lived life to the fullest.  He was an avid reader and scholar all of his life.  He may not have been the chatty type but he excelled at the written word.   He spent his whole life learning.  He earned his degree in Pastoral Studies from Multnomah University after years of studying Christianity, comparative religion and theory.  In his earlier days he enjoyed drawing and playing music. Later in life he took up woodworking and became an avid runner and practiced martial arts. Throughout it all he continued to read and write.  He worked for a time as a teacher of English as a second language and offered online tutoring.  He started his own publishing and editing business, supporting themes of Christian study and physical education.  

His passing was a shock to us all.  We appreciate all the support and condolences offered by family and friends.  We will share Celebration of Life memorial service information via this website as soon as we know.
