Background
As a pulmonary rehabilitation participant for many years of his life, this cause was near and dear to Joe's heart. He annually contributed to the Patient Scholarship Program at Sharp Healthcare, as this is where he went and he knew the positive and life-prolonging impact it had on its patients. Joe even gave the program its catchy tagline, "We get by with a little help from our friends."
