Joe Mirakovits, age 63, of Dahlonega, Georgia, passed away on September 30, 2024. He was born on December 16, 1960, in New York to the late Josef Mirakovits and Angela Sauerzoph Mirakovits.

Joe is survived by his devoted wife of 37 years, Ellen Wilton Mirakovits, of Dahlonega; his loving children, Lauren Cornelius (Mason) of Clermont, Josef Mirakovits of Atlanta, and Adam Mirakovits of Gainesville. He also leaves behind his beloved mother, Angela Mirakovits, and his siblings, Erna Enes (Marty) and Ingrid Sheremeta (Greg). Numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family will forever cherish his memory.

A man of deep faith, Joe loved the Lord with all his heart and devoted his life to serving others. He was a pillar in his community, always the first to volunteer and offer a helping hand, especially through his active involvement with the Chamber of Commerce. His tireless work ethic and commitment to his family were unparalleled; his wife and children held the central place in his heart.

Joe's life was a testament to perseverance and faith. He witnessed many miracles throughout his journey, always giving the glory to God. Even in his final days, Joe remained a fighter, never wavering in his trust in the Lord.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM at The Bridge Church in Dahlonega, Georgia, located at 147 Torrington Dr. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
