What set CJ apartย from most people was his kind yet stern nature. He never bullshitted anyone. Always told you how it was. Whenever me and CJ would have conversations, it seemed like he always new by the look in my face and the tone in my voice, what was troubling me and had an advice already in motion. Like playing chess, I would go with the first move, and before you knew it it was checkmate. I still can't stop thinking about him. I titan who was taken from us. I am just so happy for EVERYTHING that has taught me, staying committed to a wonderful women, raising an amazing son, loving everyone in his presence, and hardly ever made you feel less than. I say hardly because there were a few that deserved an ass whooping or hard lecture. Changing careers for me was good in one sense, but not so good in another sense thatย I couldn't be there on Sundays like before. CJ my brother, I will always love you. And will miss you dearly.ย

My father once said that the measure of wealth is having one penny more than you need. CJ showed me that wealth is the number of friends surrounding you.ย My measure of wealth is this ethos and the privilege of having CJ as my friend.ย God bless, brother.

I met CJ thru Jennifer and my brother Richard. Albiet only a few encounters, CJ always had an illuminating presence, he was very kind and down to earth. After my brother passed Jill and CJ welcomed us to the ranch and celebrated Richard, I learned that night, he wasn't just my brother, he was theirs too. I am honored to know and love CJ and the McDonald Family.

Always will remember CJ as a kind soul! A special weekend we had, when CJ and Christina came out to Channel Islands. We had so much fun, that we hung out all weekend! CJ have a drink with my dad in Heaven! ๐นโค๐นโค
