Paige, I will always remember your dad as a tall, gentle giant. Even though, as a kid, I have to admit sometimes I was a little afraid of him. :) Growing up across the street from you, I remember John could be stern and intimidating yet very loving and always a good sense of humor. I thought he was such an amazing smart man. So very wise!
I will always remember the deep timber of his voice, the sound of him chuckling at a joke and that wonderful grin of his. The memories that stand out when we were kids are of him playing the piano. Those hands and long fingers ticking the ivories, creating beautiful music.
I know John was also a wonderful influence and source of wisdom and guidance for my dad during his years as a lawyer.
Respected deeply and loved by so many. He will be missed. You and your family are in our hearts and prayers.

My big brother - my hero - always. A piece of my heart has been missing since you left this world on 12/28. We shared our lives with each other for decades through one (or many times more than one) email each day. We talked about everything and nothing, and I treasure the memory of each one. We exchanged love, laughter, tears, joy, sorrow, thoughts, ideas, plans, dreams, and so very much more. Rest in peace my precious brother. I will carry you with me, in my heart, every day always. Praying for peace for all those who are missing my precious brother.
