Background

Our father, was a beacon of selflessness and compassion, he was more than a patriarch to our family; he was a servant-leader whose life resonated with the harmony of community and faith. In the tapestry of his existence, woven with threads of humility and dedication, he served not for accolades but for the enrichment of those around him. His leadership was a quiet force that lifted others, a steady hand that guided, and a compassionate heart that beat in rhythm with the needs of his family and community.

As we reflect upon his life, we recognize the profound impact he had on shaping the destinies of individuals and the collective spirit of the community. It is with this realization that we embark on the creation of the legacy foundation—a living tribute to the values he held dear, and a commitment to continue his legacy of servant leadership.

The foundation, rooted in the soil of his principles, stands as a testament to our enduring love and admiration for the man who taught us the true essence of leadership. It is a platform where his children and grandchildren, custodians of his legacy, can nurture and propagate the seeds of leadership that he planted within us.

At the heart of this foundation lies a profound mission—to provide leadership training and development opportunities to those who aspire to grow, learn, and serve. Just as our father selflessly invested in the well-being of others, the legacy foundation seeks to empower individuals with the tools and knowledge necessary to lead with empathy, integrity, and a commitment to the greater good. In conjunction with our mother's memorial scholarship for undergraduate students majoring in music, theater and performing arts, we envision a ripple effect—a ripple that echoes the virtues our father embodied, touching the lives of countless individuals who, in turn, will shape a future guided by the principles of servant leadership. It is our hope that, through this endeavor, we not only preserve the memory of our beloved father but also continue the work he started—the work of building a community and a world where leadership is synonymous with service, and where each individual is inspired to make a positive impact.

Love and prayers,
