I meet John at Eastern. I wanted to go into teaching and the communication department didn’t think I would make it. John encouraged me and I followed my dreams. He was a good at advising people. He was a good man. I’ll always will remember him
I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Dr. Cogley was a wonderful teacher at EWU. He was caring and is a big reason I love Therapeutic Recreation so much.  I was lucky to have him as a professor. Just a great person and I'm so sorry.
