Remembering JoAnne Leone…Our Great Prayer Warrior

If you shared time with JoAnne and experienced her gentle inclusive love, then you were included in her prayer world. We know that 30 years ago JoAnne was blessed by her precious “Earth Angel Daughters”, Bianca and Crystal as she lovingly welcomed them into their new family. She followed this joy by including each of us in her spiritual walk with God. Her love was lavishly given without our asking or being deserved. We have broken hearts with JoAnne’s early passing, but we’re reminded that a broken heart is an open heart allowing her love to comfort our pain.

JoAnne’s daily devotion each morning was a sacred prayer time with her Lord Jesus Christ and God the Father. JoAnne sat, with a cross in hand, to commune hours in prayer with gratitude for her life and all others she loved. If you’re reading this message, JoAnne had placed your name on her prayer list many times. Often while driving to Las Vegas with her Aunt Esther, JoAnne said her prayers out loud so to include her aunt in her personal prayer time. She and Esther shared a common heart and soul in their life’s journey.

JoAnne was a “Gift from God” to all who loved and knew her. We sought her love and blessings and wrapped ourselves in them with every precious encounter. May we each decide to “not let her go” from our lives. We must now celebrate who JoAnne was, how she lived and savor the joyful pleasures of remembering them. This faithful, talented and generous mother, grandmother and life-friend changed each of our lives in Beautiful Ways Forever!
Amen.

Eternal Love,
Ron and Dan

JoAnne was my work Mom/Friend and I could not have asked for anyone better. I know the slots are paying, the music is blaring and the food is "5 star".
My dear Aunt Jo Anne did everything right in my eyes, and others. She helped out everyone who was in her life; and asked nothing in return. She is an "angel of light". I truly miss her, and she was an awesome Aunt.
JoAnne, had a great spirt that she shared with everyone that she encountered. She will greatly be missed.

Deepest and most sincere condolences; JoAnne was a force in her life. She was always willing to try new roles, extend and expand her own horizons, a true lifetime learner, she never relented and always tried to excel. She was a voice of calm to many, and a voice of reason, pushing the envelope to further education, development, training, safety, whatever it took to make the world a better place. RIP JoAnne, your work was instrumental and complete in all aspects of your amazing life and fight(s) against cancer.
My heart and prayers go out to you. Joanne was a dear friend, much loved, and will be missed. May she Rest In Peace.
The story you shared of JoAnne's life is of a life well-lived. She will be missed and will be held in the hearts of many. God bless and keep you.
Such a beautiful life your mom led. My deepest and most sincere condolences. Joanne was a very kind, welcoming, and magnetic person. We’ll miss seeing her beaming smile at church. My children and I purposely sat next to her during worship, she will truly be missed❤️

In God’s Peace,
