My Uncle Jesse meant a lot to me, I don't remember the day when I first met him but I do have lots of fond memories with him. He taught me how to survive through a hectic world, how to be a successful businesswoman when I grow up, and he taught me what it means to be loved unconditionally. My favorite memory with him is when I was in Roserito, Mexico at my grandpa's, and I was sitting on his lap telling him these never-ending stories I would make up about Peppa pig. No matter what the story was about he would always appreciate the creativity. Thats what I love most about him, He would always support whatever I would choose to invest my time and thought into. I will always miss him, but I know he's in a better place with my grandma. -Isabel Gutierrez
I am so lucky to have spent so many good times with such an amazing person. Like many people I loved him like a brother, and he had a big enough heart to love all of us back just as much.
I cant imagine a world without you in it vato. You were my best friend. My deepest condolences to Lucy and to the Jimenez family.

Jesse pheasant hunting in North Dakota. "We didn't find anything today," he says with such seriousness. 😂

Our sincere condolences and prayers for Lucy and Jesse's entire family. Jesse's positive attitude, strength and courage were truly inspirational! Jesse and Lucy were true soulmates and their love for each other continues indefinitely.

Some of our favorite memories are how Tio Jesse loved to snuggle with our sweet Maria - he would not share her during her Baptism, and we loved him for that! In November 2020, Jesse went pheasant hunting in North Dakota with Lucy's dad, uncles and Paul, his brother-in-law. Jesse wore brand new Nike Air Jordan's and needless to say, they came back in a different state!!!

May Jesse's soul rest in peace.

35 years ago, Jesse and I met one afternoon during an economics class at Poway High School. From that day on, I am so proud to share that Jesse was a best friend and brother to me.

Living half my life in New York, I remember Jesse asking me if he thought it was a good idea for him to move there for college.  I said, be careful of New York because with your adventurous lifestyle, you’ll fall in love there and never return!

And that’s exactly what happened.  He became more of a New Yorker than I in just a few months. We had more laughs and great fun in manhattan over the years and I’ll cherish those memories forever.

It was in New York where he met Lucy. She made him so very happy and remained a wonderful life partner. He loved everything about her and vice versa.

I am so pleased we shared some time together last year to see each other. I love jokes and we had some much needed laughs together.

Jesse will be a great asset to God because he can adapt to any situation or environment and he’s Gods kind of guy; Loyal and trustworthy. Jesse will be missed by all my family and I and I hope he spends some time to check on my parents while in heaven. With lots of love and care, Tony and Renda Family

I knew Jesse when he worked at TIAA-CREF in New York.  I learned so much about the web from him and we were proud of the website we help build for our division. I remember Jesse as a warm funny passionate colleague who made me laugh when I was at my wits end with a client and always had new ideas to help me out.  We talked about our Moms and our families. He seemed forever young to me and so I am so sad to hear of his passing.  My heartfelt condolences to his family he was a lovely human being, and I was blessed to have met him.  Rest in Peace Jesse
