Jerry's obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Jerry Moss, a loving and devoted family man who was born on August 15, 1944, and left us on March 14, 2025. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Glenda Moss who had been his steadfast companion since they met in 1961 and got married in 1965.
Jerry was the cherished father of Jacquie Moss, Leslie Hansen, and Libby Smylie. Each of his daughters brought immense joy to his life. He was the proud grandfather to Ruby Moss Glazier, Opal Moss Glazier, Emma Hansen Martin, Michael Hansen, William Hansen, and Wyatt Hansen. Their shared memories, laughter, and love will continue to live and grow in their hearts.
He also leaves behind his sister, Peggy Toler and father, Earl Moss who will miss him dearly. Jerry was predeceased by his brother, Gary Moss in 2024, a loss that he deeply felt.
Throughout his life, Jerry was a kind soul whose generosity of heart led him on a mission to Guatemala in 2019. In 2020, he moved to Bee Cave, TX, where he became a valued attendee at Austin Ridge Bible Church. His faith was an integral part of his life.
Jerry's fight against pancreatic cancer, diagnosed in 2024, showed his courage facing life's challenges with a smile. Despite the struggles, he remained a beacon of strength for his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life for Jerry will be held on July 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Austin Ridge Bible Church Bee Cave. In remembering Jerry, we honor his life filled with love, faith, and family.
His life was a living testament of his deep love for his family and his unwavering faith. He has left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.
