Jerry was a class act from the moment he stepped up to the first tee at Falconhead Golf Course.  His unrelenting pursuit of kindness, humanity and brotherly love made a lasting impression on me. And he did it out of strength, not weakness. I thank God he entered my life. I regret deeply he left it too soon. RIP my friend.

[My wife, Melinda, and I are in RI helping to care for her 92 year old Mother and cannot attend. Jerry would understand. ]

Such a great loss, such a kind and gentle man.

A man of God who loved the Lord.

So from heartache comes joy in knowing the promises of God and the promise of eternal life with him. Praying for peace and comfort for Aunt Glenda and family. We love you all.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Jerry. Glenda you two have been the best neighbors anyone could ask for—always kind, helpful, and willing to lend a hand. Jerry’s generosity and warm heart touched everyone around him and will be greatly missed.

May you find comfort in this scripture:

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” (Matthew 5:4)

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Glenda, during this difficult time.

Gid Bless,

Jeff, Jana and Kayla Holst

The moment we met Jerry and Glenda we knew how blessed we were having them as our neighbors and later on as friends right across from our home. We are gone a lot to help our children on both coasts but I never had to worry about our home, if Jerry noticed a leak or saw a broken pipe, he would just fix it and let us know all about it. He had a wonderful heart; loved the Lord; his beautiful wife Glenda and his family!!!! When he became ill; he handled it with such courage and all he cared about is taking care of everything for his bride of almost 60 years; and that all his family loved and followed Jesus🙏🏻‼️Jud and I have been honored to know him; honored to be his friend and we do miss him dearly.

Jerry was at peace and ready to meet his Maker and I know that our Lord received him with open arms. We will NEVER forget him🙏🏻‼️
