Our condolences to Linda and the kids. We first met Jeff on the lawn of Sandpiper in Palm Desert when he and Linda were renting there several years back. We were immediately taken by Jeff’s personal touch, boyish enthusiasm and his generosity of spirit. We visited and dined together in the desert and Marin and quickly learned of Jeff’s exploits and take on things. He was always making us laugh! We are so sad to learn of his passing and will miss the opportunity to get to know him better. Our love to Linda and RIP Jeff. We will miss you! Paul and Deirdre

When we were 12, Jeff, and I, and three other kids in our ninth grade class had moved to Los Angeles from our homes in various other parts of the country. Jeff was from Shaker Heights, I was from Miami, Sandi was from Michigan, and Donna was from New York. We were know as the "new kids" to our new friends. Jeff and I were friends from then on, through junior high, high school and Berkeley. At Berkeley we were both Econ majors so we had many classes together. He lived across the street from me at the Fiji house, where the music would blare and his fellow frat brothers would make comments to the girls in my sorority at A E Phi. We lost touch for a while, then later (much later) reconnected when my family moved to northern California. Jeff was always fun, mischievous, sarcastic, loud, funny and extremely caring. I will miss him.

Jeff, Linda and I shared the experience of owning a sloop and sailing in the challenging waters of the San Francisco Bay. Jeff was a people person. He cherished his relationships. He was warm, engaging, and caring. I will miss him and his loss leaves a gap. Sheldon Greene

Linda ~~ So sorry for your way too-soon loss. Wish I could have gotten to know Jeff better. Not sure I will be able to attend but I will definitely wear shorts if I can. Otherwise, I will see you at the Pearly Gates, Jeff, but not just yet!

I was devastated when I received the news of Jeff's passing. I first met Jeff over 31 years ago when Jeff hired me to work for him at Lockwood International. Jeff was a terrific boss and wonderful business mentor. I will never forget all of the valuable business insights and lessons that I learned from Jeff over the years. However, Jeff was so much more to me than a boss and then business colleague. Jeff was my dear friend, and he was like my big brother. I will never forget Jeff, I will always miss him, and I will cherish our friendship forever.
