Jeff and I were not close in college, but we knew each other, but ran in different circles.  He was always friendly, tremendous soccer player and always seem to have a beautiful woman on his arm.  He will be missed.

In 2008 I was going through one of the hardest times of my life. One day my dad said something to me that will stick with me forever. He told me “you can get through anything, no matter how tough, as long as you know it’ll be over at some point.” I have carried this advice with me consistently and it has helped me through some of the hardest moments of my life. My only regret is that unlike those other situations, his absence and the sorrow that it has left in my heart will not subside.  I will always miss you dad.

Dear Jill, Hilary & Jack, 

Tom and I just learned of Jeff’s passing and we were both shocked and deeply saddened. Your family was a big part of ours, especially during our mutual Blue Ridge, St John’s and HNA years. I remember swim meets fondly and Jeff’s pivotal role as starter. 😊 we’re on Whidbey Island now and hope we will be able to attend his memorial service.  Big hugs and thoughts from all of us. 😢

Dear Jones Family, 

My deepest condolences to you. Jeff was an Eagle member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, now Washington State Association for Justice, always ready to help, contribute generously in the fight for the rights of injured people. I had the pleasure to play soccer with him in the 40plus league in the 1990's. I can tell you, he was a passionate soccer player!
