Wow! Mrs. Sampson was so amazing. I'm glad to say I was very fortunate to be in her class. Her memories will be with me always. I reflect often and share stories about working on Mrs. Sampson's assignments. After midnight, with my typewriter, I did my best to complete her assignments and follow her directions to the letter. I can remember saying at the time, "all this work." But after graduation, I missed her. I give her credit for inspiring me to take on the challenge and do my best. I was just telling my daughters that you need a teacher like Mrs. Sampson to bring out the best in you. Incredible and amazing person.

In great appreciation of everything Mrs. Sampson did for our class and other classes before and after, I would like to sincerely thank her on behalf of our entire class.

The kind of time and effort like hers should never go unnoticed and never be forgotten. Mrs. Sampson had an inherent skill and passion as a senior class advisor. I'm certain she will be missed because she loved us.

My condolences, hugs, prayers and love to all the family.

My Mom, Dolores Sellers Williams, would often refer to Janet as Twin. When growing up Janet and her sister and brother meant the world to me we would go over to uncle Thomas Morgan's and see the family when they were home from college. Janet was always an encourager.  When she married Lee Samson my encouragers were doubled.  She inspired me while I was in college and whenever I visited California I would go to visit my grandma Iona, I would go to Lynwood and visit her and Lee.  I will never forget you, Twin.  I will keep you forever in my heart.  Enjoy eternity with Lee and all of our ancestors.  submitted lovingly from your cousin Rick WIlliams, Jr., First cousin once removed.  Cassopolis, MI. 2-16-23

I Love you Janet Samsonized... Walk with Jesus.
