A favorite memory of mine of Jane revolves around Christmas wrapping paper and cards. She was the SLOWEST and most CAREFUL un-wrapper I had ever met, and it horrified her when I would just tear the paper. Over the years, it just became a joke if I could somehow make her tear the wrapping paper. 

 I regularly received 'my' paper from the prior year back. She also was notorious for reusing the cards/tags, with simply an arrow swapping To/From or crossing them out to reverse them :-) 

Always 'using wisely' :-) 

Jane rented from us when she first considered a move to Cape Charles. We enjoyed getting to know Jane and were happy when she decided to make Cape Charles her home. She was such a lovely person and a wonderful citizen of the town and had a big hand in improving the community with her many talents. The loss is so great but we’re so thankful for the years we had Jane in Cape Charles.
