I met James I believe before I moved to Los Angeles at a music industry conference in the 1980’s.  Once I moved to LA, I would run into him and industry events and soon discovered we had the same circle of friends.  He was just always around and always pleasant.  When I taught music to young musicians, he came and sat in on a panel about music publishing.  We even visited his office at SESAC as a field trip for a career day event. He worked with a few of my friends,  and always made himself available to help  my students out. He also lived nearby so I would bump into him in local stores, just doing his thing!  Gonna miss seeing his smile, his genuine interest in being of service and his kindness.  This is a huge loss for us all.  Many prayers to his family and friends.

My Deepest Sympathy to The Family of James Leach. We were colleagues in the Music Publishing Business for a few years. He was always a Delight to talk to & share info with. I’m going to Truly Miss My Partner! May he RIP.
