Background
In true Jim spirit, he wanted to ensure his passing was honored by goodness on earth. As a result, in lieu of flowers, we would like to offer an opportunity to continue Jim's legacy of service.
Kathy’s House: Jim stayed at Kathy’s House for 2 weeks during his final weeks of treatment. It truly is a special place. Kathy’s House is a vital resource in the Milwaukee healthcare community. It is the only hospital guest house in southeastern Wisconsin that serves guests of all ages receiving care at all area hospitals. Kathy’s House provides shelter and comfort to patients who need to travel to receive medical care. Jim’s request prior to his passing was to have donations made in his honor to Kathy’s House so other patients in his position can be close to care and be with their loved ones.
JDRF: Jim’s daughter, Katherine (Katie), was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes when she was 8 years old. Jim and his family have spent significant time raising money and awareness. This was a cause near to Jim’s heart. Contribute to Kathys House
