Background
Our scholarship was founded in 1982 when we tragically lost Betsy "Boo" Stover Fagan to a brain tumor. Each year, contributions from friends and family are awarded to an exceptionally resilient and radiant east lansing high school graduate, in her name. The bulk of our scholarship funds are gathered each August at the Boo Boo Memorial, originally concepted and hosted by Jimmy and Susie, which also serves as a joyful annual reunion for our big, messy family.
Jimmy was incredibly proud and grateful that this special tribute has been thriving for four decades. And he always said that it was the best day of the year. There couldn’t be a better way to honor his legacy than a donation to this special cause. Contribute
