Izzy had a giving spirit. She found so much joy in finding ways to make other people happy. Seeing others smile was the medicine that eased her pain where nothing else could. Whether it was making inspirational jewelry to hand out to people or baking treats for shelter dogs, Izzy put everything she had into it. Her last and greatest gift was to help other kids with cancer. Her brain tumor was donated to cancer research in hopes of helping in the fight against the thing that took her life. A life that ended as she lived... giving as much as she could.
There were many great organizations that helped Izzy and us along her journey. The funds collected here, in her name, will be used to help these organizations and others that reflect the things she felt strongly about. The hope is for Izzy's name and spirit to continue to have meaningful impact, not only for cancer research, but for others on similar journeys.
Donations are now being made to Donor Advised Fund and are fully tax deductible. You can make a contribution by check, eft, wire, credit card or through a trust or another Donor Advised Fund. Additionally, companies that offer matching may match your donation. This is done through Charityvest, Inc. (EIN: 81-2771871). In the transfer notes, please include "Izzy Gives Community Funds".
