Although we were really cousins, I though of her as a big sister.  I am really going to miss her.  I am going to miss picking up the phone and hearing her say, "hi, precious, how are you?"

Aunt Ree was such a wonderful soul and being able to spend time with her when I was young and would come to Texas, was something I always looked forward to.

Knowing she was able to choose her time to go be with Jesus and all our other  beloved relatives gives me peace.

I really wish it could have worked out for us to come see her in her last days and give her one last hug and kiss but knowing  Dovie and Todd were there loving up on her for us, warms my heart and knowing she is now with all her loved ones that have passed before, gives me reason to rejoice.

Love you forever and rest in peace.

Helen was a gem! She loved people and life.  She listened; she gave advice, and she laughed.  A true blessing to know and love her.  I can hear one of our conversations about insurance and it still makes me chuckle. Dovie and Todd, you were blessed to have one of the best! Praying for y'all during this time.  Peace be with you.  Hugs, Pamela

Dovie and Todd, I'm so sorry for your loss.  Your love for Helen was evident, and she must have felt blessed by your caring attention.  Sending my deepest sympathies.
I never truly knew the full story behind how she was there for my mother. I know to be extremely grateful for what she did for her. I am also grateful to have met such a kind hearted human being. She was one of the sweetest, most genuine people I’ve ever met.
Dear Dovie, my condolences to you and the family.  Helen was a genuine kind soul.  She brought life to our Solvay workplace in so many ways.  I know she will be dearly missed.  Fly high Ms. Helen!  I know she already has her wings!
Dovie, you know how sad I am to lose my sweet cousin, Helen.   Prayers with the family, and know that she rests in the arms of Jesus and we will be with her someday.
RIP Mama Keprta! You will be forever missed!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
I especially remember her flirtatious enjoyment of the Elvis impersonator Todd and Dovie arranged as a surprise performer at her birthday party.  He in turn, reciprocated, and she loved every minute , sharing the fun with her guests. We didn’t have the privilege of knowing Helen for very long, yet we knew we were welcomed into her network of friends and family without question.  Todd and Dovie were superior caregivers through Helen’s many health challenges and, without  question , sustained  her dignity and quality of life with love and generosity. God has loved Helen into eternity with Him this week and we send our condolences and joy for a life well lived.
