Bob and I are deeply saddened by Fran’s loss.   We all became friends over 40 yrs ago when the Link family first arrived in Arlington Hts. I am blessed with countless memories of New Year’s Eves, of celebrating together at our kids’ weddings, of bunches of lunch dates with other ‘outings’, and of our most recent ‘presidential’ travels.  I fondly remember all of those with some highlights like following her around a cemetery in Brooklyn looking for the ‘missing’ Link!  We were presently in the midst of planning our biggest event ever—a trip to Paris in the spring.  Fran was the best of us—our travel guide, our researcher, our mother hen and  none of us will never ever forget her.   Our hearts are broken as we say goodbye. She’s will be with us forever as we try to heal from this loss

my heart goes out to fran's family - we shared a love of scrapbooking - and she was my go to for family history

she will always be remembered with lots of love and respect - this news just broke my heart - Cindi so sorry young lady -take care and keep up the beautiful history mom created - prayers are with her and yours

I am shocked and saddened by Fran's sudden death.  We have known each other for many years and shared our love of genealogy and scrapbooking.  Cindi, your Mom and I were planning a get together after her fall trip.  Feel so privileged to have been her friend.

Our hearts are broken. Aunt Fran was a beautiful person. Not just an aunt, but my dear friend. I will miss hearing her voice, seeing her smile, sharing a laugh over a glass of wine and most of all - the hugs. We will miss and love you always. ❤️
We love you more than words can express  and know that you are still here guiding all of us.

Beautiful memorial to a beautiful person. Fran was a unique person that made each  one of us feel special. We will miss her so much.
