My heart absolutely breaks for the Dowd family. I am so saddened to hear this news. Erin was truly a one of a kind gal and lived life to the fullest. I have such fond memories growing up together. She always brought an unexplainable energy to the room and the soccer field. Traveling with our families to tournaments were always a blast and there was never a dull moment! Y’all sure have a fierce guardian angel. Sending you all love and peace during this difficult time 🤍

My sincerest condolences to Erin's family on her passing.  As a student in a few of my courses at Chatham, I remember Erin fondly as an energetic and engaged person who was incredibly intelligent and kind.

I am so sad to hear of Erin’s passing. I was Erin’s academic advisor and professor for several classes at Chatham University.  She was always a delight to talk to and was a smart and engaging young woman. I am so sorry for the family.

Erin and I were friends.. she got her license before I did and would pick me up in the morning before high school. Good thing for oh shit bars because she scared me every day in her rocket with no suspension work lol. She was a wild one I will pray for her. I’m very sorry to her mom and dad and little sister for such a big loss. Erin was always full of life. She will be missed and remembered.

I’m absolutely devastated to hear this news. I adored Erin. I spent years hanging out and playing soccer. We traveled to numerous tournaments and had so many sleepovers as teenagers. I will forever cherish her memories. Joe, Cathy and Taylor I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m keeping your family in my prayers.

This news has shaken me. I’m so, so sorry for your loss. Erin was a good friend of mine throughout middle and high school and as an adult I have admired her life from afar. Her obituary was beautifully written and captured her adventurous, carefree, spirit well. I’m sending healing thoughts during this exceptionally difficult time for your family.

My heart aches for you and your family Cathy. Erin sounds like an amazing soul. Having just lost my niece recently, I know the pain of losing someone so young is excruciating. I truly believe they are always with us. . She will always  be with you. Look for the signs because they will come.

I’m just finding out about Erin’s passing, and I am deeply saddened to hear this news. The first word that comes to my mind when thinking about Erin is “cool”. She was so damn cool. When Erin moved to Allentown, we instantly became close friends from being on the soccer team to getting to introduce her to all my friends at Parkway Manor. I always was in awe of Erin and just how cool she truly was to everyone that met her. Erin was also my biggest competitor. We tied in the school turkey trot in 5th grade. I love how we were so competitive together but also had the best times together. My mom and I were just talking the other day about Erin and Mr. Dowd driving to a soccer tournament together. So many good childhood memories involve Erin. One of my favorite songs to this day is “ Ride wit Me” by Nelly. It’s my favorite song because Erin would have me listen to it over and over again on her discman on the way to soccer.

Erin will always be one of the coolest people I’ve ever met. My dearest condolences to the Dowd family.
