Dear Luz, Eric, Errol & Jennifer,
What a beautiful memorial service it was for Elmo. T he liturgy and homily, the psalms, and the eulogies by his brother, cousin, and your niece, and the ending song were deeply personal and truly spoke of how Elmo was loved and would be remembered. Domeng and I will surely have fond memories of that smile that reflected his wholesome spirit.
Next to the piano that I play, I love listening to anyone playing the saxe . I would have requested Elmo to play a tune at one of our reunions. And Vigan longanisa is my favorite! I used to call Vency in NY to order that. Ordering from Elmo would have been closer!
Hope will guide you through the difficult days ahead. Trust in our Lord’s never ending love will comfort you. Loving memories of Elmo will keep him always in your hearts.
Hugs and much love,
Irma and Domeng

My sincerest condolences and prayers for the passing of manong, my cousin and my big brother.
It's heartbreaking, devastating but we have to let him go and accept his Divine Mission in this life has come to an end.
I remember Manong Elmo, as soft spoken, humble and kind. Thanks to you and Manang Luz for all your unsolicited love, concern and care.
Recently I had my health issue and thank you for helping me ease my worries by your comforting and enlightening words, that everything will be okey and your assurance of help.
I remember so well and thank you for our comfortable trip to Davao. I was so excited then, that was my first time to go on "BUSINESS CLASS"
I was shocked when I heard from Edgar that Manong was in critical condition, confirmed by Manang Luz. I cloudnt hold back my tears when I saw his condition on his hospital bed. Thanks God we were able to talked for the last time and he said pray for me ading ko.
I will continue to pray for you manong that you are in a good place. You are in our hearts forever. Rest assured we will love Manang Luz the way we have loved you. We'll always be here for her.
May God comfort you and richly bless you with strength Manang Luz, Eric, Errol and Jen.
Warm Hugs!

Ever since I met Manong Elmo on our NLTC Class 66 mini reunions I have considered him as a big brother. His concern for everyone’s wellbeing and welfare was so evident since the start. He was the driver photographer adviser and cook, his specialty LaModa pancit and the best longanisa ever. In 2011 he and Luz surprised me on my birthday bringing the famous pancit. To make the connection even closer was to found out that his aunt Amanda Jose Valbuena was my first grade teacher. Manong Elmo you’re the best! Will miss you immensely! May you Rest In Peace! Rest assured we’ll be here always for BFF Luz.
