I think about you all the time, I don’t know why  I’m still in disbelief and don’t feel like you’re gone. I just wanna pick up the phone and have a catch up time.  I’m so heart broken when I think of you and know you’re not here with us. I just wish this wasn’t real! I love you girl! And will forever cherish and miss you💕🧡

I miss you Ellen. I am forever grateful for you and mama Cheryl for taking me in our senior year of high school. I’m cherishing all of our amazing memories and fun times.

I have known Ellen almost her entire 35 years. To pick out just one story is impossible. I will always remember our laughs and conversations. Our times when she and I and her Momma Cheryl went to dinners and shopping and road trips. I will miss her beyond understanding and appreciate the time we did have together and celebrate her life!! She will be missed by all who knew her. She is indeed a special human being and now an Angel.

The way she walked through Life . I have a better understanding of what it means for God To always be with you. For God to allow you to live and be witnessed. One of the greatest blessings to the world. God said no man could save us. But this women did!. She saved a place and made room for all she loved within herself. I have never experienced anyone like Ellen.  My condolences to all that experience her. .to Jordan for being THAT piece 🧩 of her puzzle and to Jasiri for completing it. . To Momma Glenn for sharing such a beautiful soul with us all. For a foundation that only you and God have made. And to her family and friends.May her memory be something you smile at through tears. . 

Ellen I love you thank you for extending your hand heart and family to me since 98. I will always love you. And as I seek the face ofChrist I know you will be alone side Him when the trumpet sounds. Until then Rest! You have done well friend .

I first met Ellen when we started grad school together in 2014. She was my girl, and such a good friend. From hanging out every weekend, to going to Santa Fe, to getting dressed up and going out for Halloween, we always had a good time. Ellen never let distance effect our friendship after grad school. She called regularly, literally flew to Texas for one night for my baby shower before having to get back home, and sent gifts to my girls bc that was who she was. She sent me pictures of Jasiri when she got home from the hospital and we planned to talk the next day. Sadly we both got busy and didn’t call. I will regret that for the rest of my life.  I will love you forever Ellen and I don’t think I will ever have a friend as genuine as you. This shouldn’t have happened and my heart is broken.

Ellen...I will always remember you as a little bright light...my aunt Cheryl was so happy the day she introduced you to our family. I was so happy to hear from you and learn of your milestones. To her immediate family & those that loved Ellen....I send my sincere condolences and to her husband Jordan and my aunt Cheryl I pray for your hearts, your spirits and your healing. Joey and I met you and Jordan in Thailand. Our time was brief but we kept in contact via FB. You were the 2nd Speech Pathologist I had ever met. Praying that you are smiling down at your loved ones and give them strength to go on.

Ellen and I met during orientation for our job last year. I was instantly happy I had another speech therapist who I could count on during the day to day. We stayed in touch throughout this year as a great support system for each other. She made me laugh and made the hard days at work seem ok. I was so incredibly happy for her for this next chapter in her life. My heart is heavy for her son, husband, and her family. I have thought of her daily. I’m so sorry for your loss. Please know she touched my life even in the short time I knew her. She was a friend and she will be greatly missed❤️

Ellen showed love by showing love.  I don't care what the event or milestone was, if she rode with you, she would ride to you and for you. 

 It was pouring raining my last birthday, July 2022, and Ellen was about 6 months pregnant. She insisted on driving from Philly to DC to celebrate and be with me. Came on time. Ready & looking gorgeous. As usual. She was intentional about how she showed loved. She was present. There. 🙋🏽‍♀️What a gift you were to us all.   Thank you. Im so happy you got your flowers while you were here with us. Cousin love forever 22 ❤️❤️❤️❤️
