Elaine was my sister-in-law for the last 43 years. She was the epitome of genteel Southern charm. My late husband, Bob, and I spent what was supposed to be a week visiting them in 2014. It turned into a wonderful week with her and Chuck and then a horrible week in the hospital for Bob. Elaine was always by my side, supporting me without smothering me. Her caring and love were evident every day. She helped get me through an ordeal that I can look back on with such good memories of her.

Thank you God, for giving me the most sweetest, giving, caring mother-in-law, a guy like me could ask for. I’ll never forget how welcoming you were to me, when I first started dating your daughter. Thru the years you were always there for us. Whether it was helping with our dogs, and later, being the Best Grandma for Dylan.
One of my earliest memories of your kindness was our weekly dinners at the Roselle house. I mentioned how I loved good O’l fashioned Meatloaf, potatoes and green beans. From that day on, you would serve up the best Meatloaf dinner I’ve ever had. Always with a big smile saying “I gotta take care of my fave son-in-law.” And of course your Thanksgiving feasts were always great. So great, I never wanted to miss one!
When God sent me a Mother-in-law, he sent me an Angel.
Your son-in-law Craig
