Elaine Bollins Kavanagh passed away on Wednesday April 26, 2023 after a long struggle with dementia. She was 90 years old. 

Elaine is survived by her children Mark Charles Kavanagh (Wanda Kavanagh), Stuart Justin Kavanagh ( Patti Kavanagh), Dianne Louise Romaniw (Pete Romaniw), Carolyn Kavanagh Johnson ( Neil Johnson) as well as nine grandchildren and four great grand children. 

She was predeceased by her husband Richard Charles Kavanagh, her son Douglas Edward Kavanagh, her parents, Harry and Anna Bollins, and her brother George Bollins  

Elaine graduated from Columbia University with a degree as a Registered Nurse.  She was married in 1956 to Richard Kavanagh and had five children. The family moved to Atlanta in 1969. She spent the majority of her career working for the State of Georgia in mental health.
