Donna's obituary

Donna Aney, 69, of Las Vegas, Nevada died on June 28, 2021 from injuries sustained in a slip and fall. Her loss was completely unexpected, and the family is deeply saddened.

Donna was born on February 15, 1952, to Allen and Isabel Johnson in Downey, CA. Donna went on to graduate a Scorpion from Camarillo High School in 1970, always proud of repainting the scorpion claw on the bleachers. After graduating from high school, Donna went on to pursue a degree in Graphic Design at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

While in San Luis Obispo Donna worked as a banker at Bank of America where she met many incredible people who became lifelong friends.

In 1978 she met the ruggedly handsome Scott and the two were inseparable from that point on. Donna and Scott were married for over 41 years and had two beautiful children, Christine and David.

Donna was predeceased by her mother and father, Isabel and Al Johnson, as well as her Uncle Dutch and Marge, and Aunt Lou. She is survived by her husband , two children, and family members including: her sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Vince Genco, her nephews Bunky and Peanut Genco, their beautiful families, and her cousins Linda and Bobby.

Contributions in memory of Donna can be made to the Myotonic Dystrophy Foundation. There will be a funeral service held at 2:00pm on Monday July 26th at the Davis Funeral Homes & Memorial Park in Las Vegas followed by a reception at Scott and Donna's house up the street.
