I consider Debbie my best friend. We missed many years apart after she moved to California but, we kept in touch as often as we could. When I retired, we discussed my eventual move to California, many times. Afterall, I was supposed to, eventually, move there, too. That didn't happen so, we were going to catch up on so many memories and make so many new ones. Once again, our lives made changes we couldn't control. The things we anticipated were not to be. She had always been the kindest yet, most fearless person I had ever met. I admired that about her. Still, it's hard to come to grips with the fact that I won't be meeting up with her again on earth but, I'll keep the faith that she'll be waiting with that look that says. "It's about time you got your you-know-what, up here!" From Debbie, if you knew her like I did, that's putting it gently.

My Sincere Condolences and Prayers to Debbie's Entire Family; immediate, extended and/or otherwise. Debbie was a JOY to work with. Her Humorous and witty personality made it fun and less stressful for a lot of us Staff to endure the task of dealing with teenagers All Day, on a Daily basis. Debbie was Definitely a Cornerstone of Natomas High in more ways than one; a Master at her profession as students respected her greatly for her Advice and Guidance. Rest Easy my Sharp Witted Friend; for now you are in pain No More. I am so Grateful and Blessed to have had the pleasure of Debbie allowing me to share some of her time and space in her Life. And yes, you Best believe; Debbie is no doubt looking down and Cracking Jokes about most of us at this very moment.

My last time seeing Mrs. Debbie was during the Wilson's family takeover of D.C., which was a great time for everyone. She had such a warm and welcoming spirit, and it was so easy to love her. We were blessed to have known her.
Sending love, prayers, and peace to the Diggs family. Markie & Robert
