Dave and the rest of the Rifenburg family treated my family with the utmost fairness, respect, and generosity, and i will never forget it nor was i ever able to share that with him. Thank you
Michelle and family, I am sorry for your loss. Dave and I shared wonderful memories as high school students at LaSalle. May you find peace during these difficult times. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. RIP Dave.
I'll never forget him letting my drive his boat and taking us tubing. He was just a good man and showed what you can get when you work hard. Prayers for your family ❤️

It was sad to hear that we lost one of our good men. The man that you can’t stop smiling when you are around him. He was very kind and full of positive energy. He never made me feel as if he was my boss as much as a brother.I will always treasure the memories of the best time we spent working together.
David was a pleasure to work with and hangout back in the day when we were starting out in the construction business as we lost touch over the years the memories will always be there the lake house and garage paradise farewell my friend
Michelle, we are holding you and the girls close in our thoughts and prayers. We are in shock as you must be. What a beautiful tribute you wrote for him. Sending hugs and hoping you find peaceful thoughts in your many wonderful memories. Marianne & Bill
So sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. We had such an awesome trip to Anguilla with Michele and Dave. Great memory. My sincere condolences to his daughters and Michele and close friends. God Bless everyone 🙏🏼
I am so sorry to the family. Dave, was so much fun to be around. FULL OF LIFE. From time spent at the Charlotte Motor Speedway dirt track or going to the Charlotte Panthers games. Dave gave so much to all his friends. Gone way to soon.
I remember my mom started dating frank and the first time I ever went to the lake I met Lindsay and her amazing family and they instantly took me as one of their own. Mr Rifenburg always called me page and put a smile on my face. I remember him making us fried dough, taking me on a trip to Charlotte to fix Lindsay’s race car, a trip to New York where we saw monster trucks and my first ever dirt race. He was such a light in my life growing up and I know he will be missed by many. Sending the family a lot of love and prayers
